Measuring a star's dip in brightness precisely also allows the planet's size to be calculated. And by measuring the amount of time it takes the planet to complete its orbit, researchers can determine the planet's distance from its star.
This technique is well-established, but has only be used by much larger orbiting spacecrafts, including the French-operated satellite CoRot, which made a significant planet discovery last year, and NASA's Kepler satellite, which launched in 2009. ExoPlanetSat is not meant to replace larger spacecraft, but to be complementary, says Sara Seager, professor of planetary science and physics at MIT, meaning the nanosatellite will focus on individual stars that larger spacecraft have identified as being scientifically interesting. Whereas a spacecraft like Kepler looks at approximately 150,000 stars, a nanosatellite like ExoPlanetSat is designed to track a single star.
To accurately measure a star's brightness, engineers must keep the spacecraft stable—incoming photons must hit the same fraction of a pixel at all times, says Seager, who is also a participating scientist for the Kepler satellite. "Any disturbances that shake the spacecraft will blur the image and make the measurements unusable," she says. "And smaller spacecrafts are easier to push around."
To precisely control and stabilize ExoPlanetSat, Draper and MIT researchers built custom avionics and off-the-shelf reaction wheels, a type of mechanical device used for attitude control, at the base of the spacecraft to maneuver it into position. Battery-powered piezoelectric drives control the motion of the imaging detector, which is uniquely decoupled from the spacecraft, so it operates separately. (The battery will be charged by solar panels.) "The drives move the detector counter to the spacecraft so precisely the human eye cannot see the motion," says Seager. "This is an order of magnitude better than any nanosatellite has demoed before," she says.
The nanosatellite has a volume of three liters; it's 10 centimeters tall, 10 centimeters wide, and 30 centimeters long. "It was an engineering feat getting all the hardware, including the necessary processing power and data storage, into such a small package," says Tuohy.
Each nanosatellite will cost as little as $600,000 once in production—ExoPlanetSat cost approximately $5 million—and their estimated orbital lifetime is one to two years. How to Make Peace Between Israel and Palestine
- The world community does not link and discuss what happens is that disputes concerning religious dissension.

- To resolve disputes AREA / LAND, Israel and the Palestinians should speak from the point of beginning the birth of Israel and Palestine at the time of BC (only Israel and the Palestinians who knows, other people just as a listener), and gradually the conversation moves toward history after AD. And most important of these talks, that Israel and Palestine is not solely rely on the mind, but according to Imanan to GOD / LORD, that the soil and earth and everything in it belongs to GOD / LORD.So that emerged later, the existence and recognition of joint between two parties namely NATIONS NATIONS ISRAEL and PALESTINE.

Hawking is a remote-controlled robots, which do not have a soul only to have the body.
As we all know, that man has to make robots, blood, body twinning and motion sensors, but humans can not create life. And this is not owned Hawking today is the soul.

However, in an interview with The Guardian, Monday (16/05/2011), physicist Stephen Hawking has denied that. He said that the concept of eternal life and heaven is just a mere fairy tale.
Hawking said the deaths occurred when the brain stops working. "I regard the brain as a computer that will stop working when the components are damaged. There is no life after death or heaven for the broken computer. All of that just a fairy tale for those who fear the darkness," explained Hawking.
In the interview, Hawking also suggested that quantum fluctuations in the early universe created galaxies, stars and life, including humans. "Scientists predict that there are many universes created spontaneously. It is the only chance we have problems in it," said Hawking.
The statement also confirmed the contents of his book The Grand Design, published in 2010. The book states that the creation of the universe and its existence does not need the participation of God. Hawking that the controversial idea sparked debate with religious leaders.
The question then, when the eternal life and heaven do not exist, what to do man in her life? Hawking suggests that the nature of life is to find the meaning of the action taken. "We must find the highest value of our actions," said Hawking.
Hawking himself has said that he was not afraid to die. "I have lived with the prediction of early mortality during 49 years. I'm not afraid to die, but I also do not hurry to die. I still have a lot of things I need to do," said physicist who also writes best-selling book A Brief History of this time in 1988.
In a chance interview, Hawking stated, "The Universe is governed by science. But science tells us that we can not solve the equation directly. We need to use Darwin's theory of natural selection for survival. We will give them the highest value."
Hawking also said the most interesting side of science for themselves. "Science becomes attractive when it is able to explain in simple phenomena or relationships any different observations. For example relating the double helix structure of DNA in the biological sciences and the basic equations of physics," said Hawking.
Hawking is known motor neuron disease since the age of 21 years. Doctors predict his life will not be long, but it turns out he lived up to five decades after the diagnosis of the disease. The opportunity to live more it makes Hawking feels he has more value life
